Did you know both leopards and jaguars with excess pigment can be categorized as panthers? Neither did we. This only came to light after coming face to face with this majestic beast on a trip up the Paraná River in Paraguay. Panther 86 is the product of late-night escapades, nights under the full jungle moon, and Paraguay's vibrant blue and purple flowers. While camping out with our local fixer, a few beers deep and many hilarious stories told, our compatriot arrived in a frantic state exclaiming his run-in with a huge F'ing cat. Two yellow eyes and the glimmer of some teeth were all he said that night, but it was enough to make a lasting impression. You could do the same when you put on your Panther 86 shirt and give the people the same exciting encounter dear ol' Richie received.
