The Philippines conjure up nostalgic memories filled with unimaginable beauty, extreme diversity, and the warmest most welcoming people on the planet. We were 2 weeks into our Philippine MisAdventure when we decided to take a dive trip off the coast of the famous beaches of Boracay Island. While basking in the majesty of underwater life and crystal clear waters, a few impactful events transpired in a matter of seconds. First, we saw turtles, scores of tropical fish, and a few sunken treasures. Moments later, as we were only a few hundred yards off the coast, a group of non-certified divers entered our field-of-view wearing only breathing helmets to navigate the waters in search of their own pleasure-filled ocean adventure. One of these poor souls was attacked by an octopus, clutching the helmet trying its best to pursue the weary diver to vanish. This was an absolute comedy and something we will never forget. Dive School represents this dive and its main element showcases this underwater attack in full view.
